Concentric Publications

It's just what African-Americans want: black history presented in a creative and interesting way. The history of a people is seldom boring, particularly to those people whose ancestors lived it. History gives us much today by showing us how we can live better lives; it gives us a sense of self and place and where we need to go. The black aesthetic expresses our interpretation of right and wrong, the ugly and the beautiful. Such are the creative writings of Reflections; they are who we are, whether we like it or not. Then in Reflections, the many lives of outstanding African-Americans are presented in concise but comprehensive biographies so that we may know our reality and what possibilities there are.
